While you were out partying/sleeping the summer kick-off Friday away, we were busy launching a website for one of the best hotels in Costa Rica. Atrapasueńos is a boutique hotel located in the famous beaches of Playa Santa Teresa. In order to compete with the higher capacity hotels marketing schemes we decided to go for a fresh new design featuring whites with a ‘sandy’ background. The logo was formatted to fit a smaller navigation bar to ensure ease of use while browsing the sites pages.
Along with freshening up the design, one of the major overhauls we made was in the mobile responsiveness of the site. After Google’s announcement, Mobilegeddon, we decided to make this not only mobile-friendly, but mobile-sexy….yes, we just said mobile-sexy. So what is mobile-sexy, well think of it like an app. Basically the websites nav-bar turns into something you would see running a native app. Also, swipe gestures are played with a lot. Reviews, prices, images. Swiping is fun. Just ask anyone on Tinder.
Oh yeah…and the site is multi-lingual para los que hablan español 😉
